randomness at 2:30 am

I rarely stay up this late. Sleep is eluding me.

I want to see Ice Age and Big Fish again.

I like the smell of popsicle sticks.

I listened to some groups this week that I either hadn't heard before, or not much, and I liked them: Bossa Nova Beatniks, New Order, Pink Floyd.

The night sky is amazing. I never, ever see it without awe.

I don't know what the last book was that I laughed over as much as The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy

I have an amazing family.

I like to go barefoot.

I told someone a secret today.

I love being called by my name. It's a funny thrill I get when someone says hi Holly, when they could just say hi.

I love anticipation.

Yellow roses are my favorite roses. Especially if the petals are a little frilly.

If/when I ever get married, I want my friend, Isaiah, to do my photography. He's fantastic.

People are amazing things to observe.

I'm running out of random things to say.

Have fun this weekend, and don't get sun-burnt!

*grin* acutally, I'm on book three, Life, the Universe and Everything.

"This isn't my towel," said Arthur, "I had a Golgafrinchan jogging towel, it was blue with yellow stars on it. This isn't it. This one's pink," said Arthur. "It isn't yours, is it?"

Ooh, I *loved* Big Fish! I just watched it for the first time a few months ago. Reminded me a lot of Secondhand Lions. Have you seen that one?

Yay for going barefoot!

I agree about the name thing. To this day I get more happy shivers from Isaac saying, "I love you, Bethany" than any other thing, even more than "I love you, Beautiful" or something. I like when other people say my name too. Go us! ;o)

I feel that although I liked it a lot, I should say Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is very weird. They did a pretty good job of sticking to the original story, which is a little strange in itself, but the really weird thing is Johnny Depp's portrayal of Willy Wonka. It's a little more bizarre than he really was in the book, but it works. Depp was excellent, as always, and I was quite amused.

I stayed up until 4:30am last night. Sleep fell upon me and kept me in bed until 2:46pm.

I've never seen Ice Age and Big Fish.

I like the taste of popsicle sticks...especially the ones with the cream in the middle.

Pink Floyd is probably, and claimed by many, to be undoubtedly the best band ever. That is certainly my thought on the matter at least.

The night sky is amazing. I never, ever see it without awe. <--I am in complete agreement. What's even more amazing is sitting at the beach at night, looking at the night sky. Now you have a soundtrack to the amazing visuals before your eyes.

I don't know what the last book was that I laughed over as much as The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. <--I do. The Visitation by Frank Peretti. :P

I have an amazing family too.

I like to go barefoot in the grass.

I love being called by my two different names: Fenton and Andy. Some people know me as Fenton (my first name) and some people know me as Andy (Andrew being my middle name). Some people even change it up every once in a while and call me both--namely my mom when I'm in trouble. :P

I don't like anticipating, especially if it's something I absolutely long for, like finding the woman I want to marry and having a family.

I don't have any favourite flowers.

Yes, Isaiah is a fantastic photographer.

People are amazing things to observe indeed.

I'm running out of random things to reply to.

I made sure I put on suntan lotion. :)

Oh, about being talkative or not...When I first meet someone, or if I don't know them, I'm generally quiet and shy; but when I get to know you and we click, then I'm quite talkative. But online.. I'm talkative regardless.

Both Ice Age and Big Fish are very enjoyable. :o)

namely my mom when I'm in trouble.
Still??

July 18 2005, 23:50:23 UTC 6 years ago

I wrote all of that and you have two sentences for it. Sheeesh. :P

I'll have to check out those two movies..

Nah, mom hasn't called me by my two names since I was a young'n. :) I've been a good boy.

July 18 2005, 23:57:14 UTC 6 years ago

LOL!!!

Ok...what do you do that you can sleep so late??

I've never seen a popsicle stick with something in the middle...usually it's a piece of wood with stuff on the outside.

I don't like anticipating, especially if it's something I absolutely long for, like finding the woman I want to marry and having a family.
It took me a long time to be able to enjoy the anticipation of waiting for a spouse. But I do. :o)

I made sure I put on suntan lotion. :)
I hate suntan lotion...it makes me feel dirty.

There...was that better?

July 19 2005, 00:04:09 UTC 6 years ago

hahahaha. I didn't actually expect you to do that.. but hey, cool.

I was hanging out with some friends at this local pub. It's a medieval style restaurant/pub and last night was karaoke night. :) I know the owner and a lot of the people that work there and hang out there, so we generally hang out late and talk. And I can do that because I'm not working at the moment. The Theatre I work for doesn't have much of anything going on right now in the dead of summer; and the other job I work is a sort of "work whenever I get called" kind of gig. I have a nice check coming in the mail, so I don't need to work right now.

You've never had a creamsicle?!!! wow...those things are the coolest ever! You have to try one!

Perhaps you can share how you can enjoy the anticipation...

Yeah, I don't like suntan lotion either, but it's better than burning. I'm fair-skinned..otherwise known as WHITE!

Much better. :D

[info]mrs617

July 19 2005, 00:07:56 UTC 6 years ago

You've never had a creamsicle?!!!

heh...in my post, I was referring to the wooden part...the stick, not the actual popcicle.

I don't know! I don't even know why/how I do...it's a gift, I guess. :o)

Ahh, well, I rarely burn, so there's the difference, I guess.
